The easiest way to get started with the Neuroconductor Docker image is by using Kitematic, an application for MAC/Windows/Ubuntu that gets Docker running on your local machine and lets you control your app containers from a graphical user interface (GUI).
2. Install Kitematic - the Docker GUI
- Download the latest version of Kitematic via the github release page. The screenshot below shows v0.17.12 as the latest version, please make sure you download whatever version is the latest one. Click on the version matching your OS (Operating System). Once the zipped file was downloaded, unpack and run the executable file.
- Initial Setup - Opening Kitematic for the first time sets up everything you need to run Docker containers. If you don’t already have VirtualBox installed, Kitematic will download and install the latest version.
3. Search and download the Neuroconductor Docker image
